Remember when I told ya’ll that S had taken a photo of Lulu, submitted it to a doggie treat contest, and Lulu won? Well, here’s the product:
Look closely and you’ll see it says, LULU-ALBUQUERQUE, NM.
How cool is that? We got three free bags. I would like to keep them forever but I’m thinkin’ Lulu would appreciate being able to nibble on those well-deserved snacks. I guess I should take S out to dinner for her “snack” as it was really her photo that won the competition. We already know Lulu is adorable.
I mean… look at that face. It totally says, “Please, Sir, I want some more.” in her most waifish, doggy-way. When she gives us that look… we absolutely know how much she loves us… or… how much she wants to eat that roast/pie/cake on the kitchen counter. (One time she ate an entire banana cream pie off the kitchen counter. The bugger!) Just look at those pleading eyes… I fall for it every time.
I’m proud of both of them. S is a terrific photographer and really captures the feelings in a moment. Isn’t it cool that our dog is featured on (organic and natural products, btw… How bacon and cheddar can be organic and natural is a mystery to me.) doggie treats in pet stores throughout California?
I think so.

I have a friend who’s dachshund ate a full tin of Christmas cookies while we all played Trivial Pursuit once. LOL
LOL — it’s when she gets into the coffee, that’s really bothersome. Cause you wanna just sleepily reach down and grab the cuppa, and she’s slurped her way through 3/4′ths of it.
Maybe that’s why she’s such a spaz.
It’s really really cool.. that she’s on a label. I’m so excited that I almost don’t care that it was my photo that’s showing her off… I’m so proud of our baby..

That’s a great photo of your pup and you’re absolutely correct that S. is a fabulous photog. I’m envious of people who have this talent because it is definitely not one I’ve been blessed with. But I am a very appreciative audience.
I love the pic of the gerbera daisy. Them’s my favorite flowers and the colors are great. What did she do to make the leaf picture look so dizzying?
S IS an amazing photographer, I know this because she made me like roses again, and that was a 10+ year phobia AND Becca thinks her photos are awesome, and Becca is picky as hell about other people’s work…she’s a real snot, as only newly-graduated photo school people can be. What a great shot of adorable Lulu…who could ever resist giving the poor pup whatever she begged for with those eyes looking up at you???
